Do you feel the very foundations
of the world shaking?
Too much of your blood
Yes, your blood,
soaks our earth.
And it's my fault
and it's your fault
and it's God's Fault.
It is in your power
to hold the world close,
to release your soul's voice
and do better than cry
for the moment.
Yours - yes yours - is the power
to do better than
just click petitions,
post tragic links.
Yours is the power
to scream at injustice
to change those in power
to march, cry, act, heal.
No one has the right
to commit violence.
Why do you let them?
