Calm
(C) Rabbi Menachem Creditor
It is understandable,
this ache for solitude,
its offer of peace.
Calm.
Surrounded by solid brown
and gentle chirps,
I could forget, for a while,
the needs of the world.
Calm.
They'll call soon enough.
But, for now
(just for now)
it's nice to feel
calm.
