We join together as a community to bear witness to the Shoah.  The program will contain ritual and reflection, and will feature both Dora Apsan Sorell, Shoah Survivor and author of "Tell the Children: Letters to Miriam" and Alina Alishoev, a participant in Shalhevet 2009:  A Program of the Holocaust Center of Northern California.  Also participating in our community's Yom HaShoah ceremony are Rabbi Yoel Kahn of Congregation Beth El, Rabbi Yonatan Cohen and Rabbi Max Davis of Congregation Beth Israel, Rabbi Menachem Creditor and Rabbi Shalom Bochner of Congregation Netivot Shalom, and Rob Ruby, President of the The Jewish Community Federation of the Greater East Bay.   After the program, Dora Apsan Sorell will meet with anyone who would like to speak with her in the Social Hall, where there will be light refreshments and copies of her book "Tell the Children" available for purchase and signing.
