Delusional self-confidence. Positive thinking. One goes hand in hand with the other. Here's the thing though, delusional self-confidence isn't really delusional. It is the key in the engine that turns on the power of positive thinking. Whenever we have a thought or a belief that leads us away from a peaceful feeling, the feeling of love, this is the signal that we are off-track. Negative thoughts/beliefs inevitably lead to stress, stress leads to fear, fear leads to hate, hate leads to the dark side. By becoming aware of our negative thoughts, asking (and watching ourselves, using our memory) living our lives through the filter of that belief, and then asking ourselves what would happen if we believed the opposite, and then watching (mentally, using the power of our imagination) ourselves living our lives through that filter instead, we come to feel , literally, the difference. Positive thinking in this manner allows us to free our minds from the constraints of self-doubt, of fear, and to live fully through love.
When you believe a negative thought, you suffer. This is in relation to self, to other, and to the world in general. When you believe a positive thought, you enjoy. This is in relation to self, to other, and to the world in general.
