Imagine There's No Religion

Imagine There's No Religion
(c) Rabbi Menachem Creditor
inspired by a question by Chazan Magda Fishman

It would be glorious
if there were no commandments
because we found ourselves
in an alive, holy,
infinitely attuned,
healthy world.

"Religion"
is the rules needed
for the world
as it is.

But we're called
to birth a better world
where rules will be,
please God,
redundant
and therefore
unnecessary.

Won't that be nice?
